Most funded Campaign in Betway!
Pebble Time:
Pebble cracks all the expectations when it rose to a huge $10,266,845 in 2012, beating the smart watch’s initial target of $100,000 by 10,167%. And, when the brand’s second campaign launched in 2015, supporting the second-generation watch Pebble Time, this broke records yet again, achieving its funding goal of $500,000.
Smart Watch Pebble was acquired by Fitbit in 2016 for $23
Oculus Rift:
With the potential to transport users to an over-realistic i.e; 3D world, the headset beat many of the tech greats into creating VR technology of such high quality.
Even after large interest of corporate, Oculus Rift still needs the proper financial help from promoters to grow up in market. So, by using popular VR forum MTBS3D and displaying the headset at gaming exhibitions, The company founder Palmer Luckey, caught the attention of famous businessmen of this industry.
The media soon will start to promote the pioneering headset, and within four hours of launching a Kick-starter campaign on August 1st 2012, Luckey reached his $250,000 target.
While it is not the most financed collective funding project ever, Facebook’s $2billion investment in our company just two years later means it is likely the most profitable.
Star Citizen:
If you’re one of the 2.3 million people who promised financially help – Star Citizen, Cloud Emporium Games’ “epic space adventure”, then you might be a little eager or greedy for money.
In 2012, The game gained $2.1 million from over 34,000 sponsors —more than four times from its goal. After Seven years, an additional $46 million has been privately invested to Combat Games, while nearly $180 million was raised from another collective financing offer on the games.
