Here’s how to create a wedding blog that makes money. There are several ways to make money from a blog, but here is how I do it.

Ads Can Help You Make Money

This blog employs an ad network to make money. Personally, I use Mediavine. However, you must have a lot of traffic to get admitted into the network.

So, if you’re thinking about starting a wedding blog and making money through ads, make great content to attract clients.

The more page views your wedding blog receives, the more you will be paid by your ad firm.

This is fantastic for blogs that receive thousands of views every day or month. If your blog isn’t generating enough traffic,

What can you expect to make of it?

This will all be determined by a few factors. The size of the ad placed on your blog and how closely the ad is relevant to your niche.

They pay a couple of dollars per click, which is great if you have a lot of traffic.

Mediavine will analyze your content and display ads relevant to your posts. Keep in mind that if you publish a post that isn’t relevant to what you usually write about, you might get an odd ad for it.

The more traffic you have, the more money you will make.

Here are a few ideas to increase the blog traffic on your wedding blog:

Direct Advertising on Your Website

The majority of wedding bloggers include vendor advertising opportunities on their websites.

If you want to establish a wedding blog, this is the best way to make money with a blog. This is not only the best way to make money, but you also have complete control over who you work with.

You can have vendors advertise on your site if you get a lot of traffic from people like brides. You can either create a vendor section or list vendors in your sidebars.

You can also blog about them to gain exposure, but the choice is yours.

Typically, I would charge a higher fee for vendors listed on my sidebar. Right now, I primarily offer sponsored blogs. When I do social media, I cycle through these posts and give them a shout-out on Instagram, Facebook, and Pinterest.

Pay whatever you want.

Create a media kit to send to potential clients with whom you want to work.

Affiliate Marketing and Promotions

This is my personal favorite method of monetizing my wedding blog. When I originally thought about starting a wedding blog, I knew affiliate marketing was the way to go.

Affiliate marketing is a method for you or your wedding blog to earn money by promoting other people’s products in exchange for a commission.

Remember to let people know about any affiliate links you post ahead of time.

At the top of the post, I usually say that this post may have affiliate links from which I may make money. I usually say that this post may have affiliate links from which I may make money.

You can apply for affiliate marketing programs in a variety of venues. The best part is that there is no limit to the number of times you can sign up.

I’ve heard of bloggers making $50,000 or more in affiliate sales.

This is due to the fact that they do it correctly.

Those who perform affiliate marketing correctly generate content to accompany the link rather than simply pushing the link. So, instead of just a link, a few ideas would be a full blog post of a tutorial on how to use something, a product review, or just putting the link to a blog post that it can be related to.

When people ask me how I make money as a successful wedding blogger, I usually mention it’s through affiliate marketing.

To maximize the value of my affiliate links, I chose to enroll in a course to assist me.

Especially after hearing that people can make up to $50,000 per month doing this. Michelle from Making Sense of Cents produced the course “Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing,” which I took. Starting a wedding blog, or any blog for that matter, necessitates an investment, and this was mine.

Michelle, the course’s instructor, recently earned over $90,000 through her blog.

Isn’t that insane? Most of her income comes from affiliates, and she built a course to teach other bloggers how to increase their affiliate income.

Basically, if you want to learn about affiliate income, she’s the person to learn from!

She discusses the various sites to apply for affiliates and how and where to advertise these affiliates. You also gain access to her private Facebook page, where you can share your work, have it promoted, and ask questions.

I currently make a lot of money from affiliates every month, and I even offer some of my own products as affiliates. You may obtain the “Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing” course right here!

So, what can a wedding professional do to increase affiliate sales?

Affiliates are available from BHLDN, Sandals resorts, and Bookings.com. Simply read the information at the bottom of their web pages to apply for affiliates. Remember that if you perform automated affiliate marketing incorrectly, you will not receive a return on your investment.

You must understand how to market it, which is where “Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing” came in handy for me. Prior to that, I had scarcely made any money.

Work with other wedding vendors and brands to create a cohesive look.

As previously stated, in order to be successful as someone starting a wedding blog to make money, you must have numerous streams of income.

Another approach to making money with a wedding blog is to create material that promotes specific companies or vendors.

If your blog receives a lot of page views, specific businesses or vendors may approach you to market to them.

When we were younger, we had banner ads all over the site. It is preferable, like with affiliate marketing, to develop content to support a specific brand or product. If a brand or vendor does not approach you, you can construct media kits and send them by email.

To be considered, you must have great page views and a significant social media following.

Keep in mind that certain companies may offer you free merchandise in exchange for advertising rather than payment.

It is entirely up to you how you approach this. For the sake of building your portfolio, you may want to go for it, but don’t do a lot of free work.

The larger a brand company becomes, the more marketing money it must invest. You must request payment. Tell them how much you admire their brand and how much you’d want to work with them, and then request a budget.

I truly appreciate collaborating with vendors because I adore coming up with great methods to market them.

Sell your products

If you are a creative person who creates amazing items, you can sell them on your blog.

Why not sell stock photos if you are a wedding photographer, for example? People who are just starting out in the wedding business look for stock photos all the time.

Consider selling them if you are into wedding invitations and other similar items. If the stock goes out of season, wedding decorators can sell it!

Don’t just post it on Kijiji or tell people about it; make a blog article about it and share it on social media.

I sell my own products, which you can see in my shop here or on Etsy!

And that is how I make money as a successful wedding blogger…

… and we’re not going to promise you millions.

However, there are some fantastic wedding bloggers out there who make a lot of money. Using your blog is a great place to start. Your blog is the platform through which you may begin earning money.

You’re on the right track if you already have a lot of traffic and a great following. “Making Sense of Affiliate Marketing” was the book that changed a lot of my money-making methods.

They show you how to promote, get more traffic quickly, and start making sales.

Give it a go!

Now it’s time to start monetizing your wedding blog! You can begin planning your wedding, establishing an audience that loves and trusts you, and then begin thinking about methods to monetize it.

Conclusion: A wedding blog takes some time.

It takes time and effort to start a wedding blog. You won’t see money immediately unless you have a market for it.

Even that will take time as you will need to create trust! Not all of the products on this list will work for you. For example, ads haven’t worked for me, but affiliate links have.

Simply observe what works.
